Soon after the clocks went back at the end of October, Dreamweaver CS3 began throwing errors for no good reason. I did a search of the Internet and discovered that the clock change interfers with Dreamweaver’s time stamp tracking and causes it to throw errors.
The recommended solution is to close Dreamweaver CS3 and delete a specific file.
The file is the WinFileCache-AD76BB20.dat file found in the Dreamweaver configuration files.
To get to the file in Vista, make sure you can view all files and folders including hidden ones. Open the users folder and locate the AppData folder. Inside the AppData folder you will find the Adobe folder. Open this and open the Dreamweaver 9 folder. Inside this folder you will find a Configuration folder and in this you will finally find the WinFileCache-AD76BB20.dat file.
Delete this file.
When you reopen Dreamweaver CS3, your problems should have vanished and Dreamweaver will have recreated the WinFileCache-AD76BB20.dat file.
